She had macdonalds breakfast and headed down to a far away ulu land with matthias for the Page One warehouse sale where she endured the heat/crowd to grab 16 good design books at super good prices! Buying books is super addictive. Hoho. So, she may visit that place again with puay and cong to grab more design books on sunday :D

Sunday, December 21, 2008 Busy week
Posted by Philothea` @ Sunday, December 21, 2008 | Philo is back from the 4Days3Nights Heroes camp and still more busy than ever! It has been an extremely tight deadlines and exhausting week! But, thank goodness it was fruitful (:
Philo has probably attended more than 20 church camps over the past 7 years and she realised that she still wish to capture every moment of it (bcos they're ever so awesome!), but somehow, has ceased to snap photos of herself (less than 10 this time) while she collected more than 2000 / 10GB ++ worth of photos of everyone else and everything happening at the camp site. So, here's her one and only favourite:
She's proud of her candid creature of this funky specs (made out of that thing and 4 rubberbands) which she has stole from yongkang's box. Hohoho.Philo is getting a little annoyed that she hasn't started writing any Christmas cards at all! (will attempt to do so soon!) In fact, she's rather upset cos she don't get to buy anything (for herself or anyone) this round cos she's in such a financial crisis. But she's very thankful to the super duper lovingly lovely friends who has been constantly showering her with every small little/medium/BIG thing(s) that makes her world goes round in absolute sweetness (:

Arigatou Puay, for the food treats! 谢谢 Shuz, Jiancong, Steven, Jiayi, Matthias and everyone else who made Philo's (every)day! :D :D :DChristmas is approaching...some say 'love is in the air', others say 'sales is everywhere'...whatever it is, Philothea is very very thankful that she gets to celebrate Christmas year after year, knowing that Christmas no longer happens around her, but it happens deep inside her since May 2001. The reason is plain simple and she would be more than elated to have friends, family and everyone to join her for THE GIFT:

Anyway, Y-Comm held its 1st ever combine workshop 'DateDIW' and it went well ^_^

Woohoo~ holidays!!!
Sorry this post came late and I have yet to catch up with so many people! :(
cos I'd rather hide at home these days --- work is still piling!
Anyway, I'm lovin' this eventful weekend!
5th Dec -Friday:
CG dinner at Ikea --- Yay! I'm always very satisfied with swedish meatballs!
Followed by a youthful musical --- thank you dear shpd shuz for the treat! (:
We were assigned to the front 1st row seats =.= it's so scary to be seated right in front of the stage; every detail is magnified and there are occasional 'showers of blessings'...
This musical is pretty good considering they are all armatures. Of course, credits to director, Lim Yu-Beng and producers, Tan Kheng Hua and Valerie Lim. I love good musicals, wanna be part of a good one and I can't wait to catch those darn good ones in Europe! ^_^6th Dec -Saturday:
didn't go chunk fest in the end cos it was raining, the ground was super muddy and so they said it wasn't worth making a trip there...we headed straight to House at dempsey (where we sell our postcards!) after dinner...

We had to make up for the loss of chunk fest --- afterall, ice cream is so irresistible --- Dempsey's B&J is the best outlet I deem with such good ambiance and swings (I haven't had a chance to sit on them)A pint of one oreo cheesecake
After Danielle left, we caught a late-night jolly feel good christmas movie.
and chilled at the cafe outside Cineleisure till almost 3am since it was the last day of 2008 Merywn would be in Singapore before he returned to Indonesian. Hoho. Good thing there's night riders; the bus journey home was even faster than my usual train journey. A happy Saturday, that was! (:
